BIO: I was born in southwestern Germany and raised by my grandmother and two sculptor parents (https://ingriddahn.de/ and https://maxschmitz.org/)

I trained in biology, with interest in botany, paleontology, parasitology, and neuroscience and received a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Tübingen.

In 2002 our son was born – it still feels like a miracle.

Since 2023, I am a member of the ceramic studio at PowerhouseArts (https://powerhousearts.org/).
