SEED PODS

The pieces in this section are inspired by the shapes of seed pods I’ve encountered in my garden and beyond. I spend a lot of time observing plants and gardening and experiencing the flora of different regions are truly invaluable to me. In my small backyard garden in Brooklyn, I focus on plants native to the Northeast. It’s astounding how, even in an urban environment like New York City, ecosystems can rebuild themselves when native plants are cultivated in an area.
